Senior Financial Analyst

Sales-driven, financially-focused Consumer Products firm, going through significant growth and change, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to help the company grow and prosper. This role will be responsible for basic FP&A functions, such as forecasting, budgeting, long-term planning, and ad hoc analysis (ROI for investment analysis, reporting, dashboards). This position will also include a data mining component which will involve identifying trends in large data sets and building automated and/or ad hoc reports for internal business users.

Other Responsibilities include:

• Building strong and favorable relationships with customers & team members across the organization.
• Incorporating data from multiple data sources and including sales, inventory, product, and customer / consultant databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive better decision making.
• Working with several large and complex Business Intelligence databases.
• Building reports / dashboards / metrics in existing and future systems and Excel.
• Building & maintaining templates and reports in the enterprise forecasting and budgeting systems.
• Building complex models in excel for scenario based / case study analysis.
• Building story-lined analytics and strategic-based PowerPoint decks.
• Must be able to able to operating at highly efficient and productive speeds.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of FP&A experience in medium to large company environments, with international operations, and preferably in Manufacturing / Consumer Products.
• Very strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (as evidenced through experience), CPA a plus.
• Strategic thinker but detailed operator with a record of demonstrating solid judgment, planning and accomplishing goals.
• Highly-focused and driven and very accountable to assignments and deadlines.
• Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel-based).
• Solid presentation deck building skills in PowerPoint with ability to master on the job.
• Superior written, negotiation, presentation, and verbal communications.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced organization and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to very effectively incorporate data from multiple sources including sales, inventory, product, and customer / consultant databases to create integrated views that can be used to drive decision making.
• Work and navigate through Business Intelligence systems using SQL and other tools.
• Highly Proficient in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, etc.).
• Experience working with budgeting, forecasting, ERP, and business intelligence systems / solutions.
• Must be able travel outside of the USA on a periodic, but infrequent basis.
