Accounting Clerk

Small, privately-held manufacturing company, currently in the process of acquiring another firm, is seeking an Accounting Clerk / Office Assistant to handle the day-to-day operations including A/P, A/R and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities include:

• Enter Accounts Payable invoices, cut Vendor checks and answer Vendor inquires.
• Create Account Receivable invoices and collection calls to Customers.
• Weekly Hourly Payroll time entry into ADP for 70 plus employees.
• Ordering of office supplies.
• Control over distributing petty cash and reconciling the petty cash reimbursement.
• Assist the group controller in Month End reporting as needed.
• Further office duties as required

Requirements include:

• Work experience in a similar type capacity, ideally within a manufacturing facility.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently or as a team with a hands-on approach.
• Detail-orientated.
• Experience working with payroll. Knowledge of ADP would be an asset.
• Ability to speak Spanish would be an asset.
