Our client is a cutting edge, personalized healthcare company enabling improved patient outcomes and more effective treatment decisions for critical illnesses. Their unique systems-based approach to personalized healthcare integrates novel diagnostics with large-scale, biometrics to track patient outcomes and deliver precision medicine.

Due to departmental growth, they are seeking a Payroll professional with 5 – 7 years’ of ADP or similar Payroll experience. This role will be responsible for the processing and reconciliation activities in payroll, treasury, insurance, travel and expense reimbursements for multiple companies totaling approximately 1,200 hourly/salaried employees.

Responsibilities include:

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees in a timely and accurate manner using ADP WorkforceNow Payroll system.
• Review and import non-exempt personnel time sheets utilizing an electronic time and attendance software product for compliance with policy, state and regulatory requirements.
• Audit of system output such as payroll registers and standard reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Process requests for set up and change related to tax withholdings and direct deposits.
• Process final wages for employee terminations according to state-by-state and company procedures.
• Timely processing of all court-ordered or tax levied wage garnishments, deductions, reimbursements, and vacation/sick accruals. Reconcile and review the accuracy of payroll deductions to payroll output documents.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy of payroll processes while complying with payroll and tax laws and audit requirements.
• Manage all withholding and unemployment insurance account numbers across multiple state and local tax authorities.
• Respond to questions and special requests from employees, management, regulatory agencies, in researching laws and regulations regarding taxes and payroll withholding procedures, and in preparing special reports for senior management.
• Provide audit support for internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files, including manual check log and reconciliation of payroll account.
• Initiate timely payment of international and domestic wires.
• Maintain log of certificate of insurance requirements. Reconcile all premium related to all insurance policies. Manage claims for insured losses.
• Manage travel and expense reimbursement setup using the Concur system.
• Perform analyses for payroll related liabilities and year end reporting.
• Serve as full back up for the Payroll Administrator position.

Requirements include:

• 5 – 7 years’ of payroll, treasury management and / or accounting experience.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Access and Word.
• Experience with ADP or similar payroll software.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Effective verbal & written communication

A CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is preferred for this role.
